Plum crumble with anise
Ingredients
Serves 4
• 500 g of plums
• 3 apples
• 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
• 100 g of soft butter
• 150 g of plain flour
• 150 g of sugar
• 3 tablespoons of HB Pastis
Preparation
Preparation: 20 mins. Cooking time: 30 mins.
Halve the plums and remove the stones. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into cubes.
Put the fruit into a buttered oven-proof dish. Sprinkle over the light brown sugar and pour on the HB Pastis.
Prepare the crumble by rubbing the butter and sugar into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Spread the crumble over the fruit and cook for 30 mins in an oven preheated to 180°C (gas mark 6)
